Marine House

Marine House is a luxury seafront holiday accommodation situated directly on the seafront in the stunning village of Milford on Sea. The village hosts a range of activities with unique and independent shops, a variety of coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs. The location of the B&B only enhances the experience with a unique accessible seafront promenade.

The location allows guests the opportunity to walk along the coastline or inland along the Studland Common or the many nature reserves. It is the perfect place to stay, relax and recharge.

As a group of companies, we were asked to combine our services to provide a Fire alarm system, Sprinkler system and complete electrical installation. We installed and commissioned a new automatic fire alarm system, the fire alarm system incorporated manual call points and automatic fire detection in accordance with British Standard BS5839 for all the communal areas at the premises.

We installed 10 manual call points, 12 optical smoke detectors, 17 optical smoke detectors/sounders, 7 heat detectors, 2 electronic sounders, 9 visual alarm devices and 6 Co detectors. In addition, we were responsible for the complete electrical installation to the premises for all the wiring within the building. We carried out the electrical first fix, second fix and final testing for the NIC EIC certification purposes. The installation carried out meets the IET wiring regulations 18th edition amendment 2:2022.

We were also asked to design, supply, install, test, and commission a sprinkler system to B.S.9251:2021 Domestic standards. In addition to designing and installing domestic sprinkler systems, we also quote to provide ongoing maintenance and support, as well as certification.
