Located in Poole, Reliance Scrap Metal process and recycle scrap metal. They are an Independent, family-run company who have been providing an exceptional range of services to clients for more than 60 years. We have worked with Reliance Scrap Metal for over 5 years.

Working with Reliance Scrap Metal we are responsible for the servicing, maintenance and remedials of the Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting. Carrying out the Fire alarm servicing our engineer’s service two panels, the main building a Twinflex Pro and the workshops C-TEC system.

To satisfy the current fire alarm regulations BS5839 Pt1 2017 we carried out installation works on both panels. To make sure they are compliant we supplied and installed a new fire alarm panel dedicated fire-resistant mains voltage supply feed complete with a secure key-operated labelled isolator located adjacent to the fire alarm panel. Created and fitted geographical represented building fire alarm zone plans. Re-positioned several devices and installed and commissioned two conventional manual call point’s complete with hinge covers located in an area leading to a place of ultimate safety.

Importance of recycling – To get metal, the raw material should be excavated from the earth through mining, excessive mining causes the depletion of natural resources. Because of the never-ending demand for metals, many locations will end up with large excavation holes. The negative effects of mining on the environment can be reduced as more people recycle their scrap metals.
